Polishing...

5/6/2017

Version 5.5 is rolling out and together with its predecessor (version 5.4) is focused on visiting existing features and polishing them according to user feedback.

One place for settings

Version 5.4 organized all of a tracker's settings in a single screen instead of being placed on tracker cards, entry dialogs and menu settings. Settings by their nature are not used very often and once you set them to your liking they hardly change so it made more sense to place them in one convenient spot.
Other changes included an improved appearance to the side drawer and some more ui touches.

Graph, revisited

Some users complained about the graph settings and I have used some of the feedback to do a total redesign of this feature. Now you can easily see what additional graphs are available and select them, I have also added some new ones like maximum and minimum and simplified others such as moving average.
Some settings were removed like labels display which is now being calculated automatically or settings the minimum and maximum values of the Y axis which can now be set by pinching and dragging the graph.
Many other small bits were added as well like showing a whole note when tapping on its flag, improved look for the buttons and easy selection of Y axis tracker.

More polish to come...

I am not done.. version 5.6 will focus on polishing both the widgets and the goals in the app. Got ideas about these features? Drop me a note :)

Hi,
First: really like your app, I'm using it every Day. Very good work!

I've often used moving average with 30 Days. A few Trackers had 12 Days. Now it is on 7Days(?) by Default and I can't change it.

When will this feature come back?

(I've also liked the Feature that hide the dots and the figures.)

For the time i have to wait for it... can you please send me the apk of the old version?

I was very happy with the features of the App and I didn't miss anything. But now its different.

Best Regards,
Timo

Hi Timo,

Both moving average and dots display were simplified and the app now tries to perform the adjustments automatically. For instance, the dots/figures appearance changes when you zoom in/out the graph showing more info as you zoom in and less info zooming out to keep the graph less cluttered. Moving average period is also being calculated automatically.

I can send you an old APK however you will miss out on all the upcoming features and I am also very much interested in working with you to see if we can tweak the automatic behavior to suit your needs.

Lets discuss this at contact@zagalaga.com

Regards,
Guy

I have a tracker to drink water, I set a goal to be reached above 64, and the time frame 1 day. My problem is if I put in 2 entries for today and a few for yesterday, there seems to be no Card Content that will give me useful information. If I use Sum of Values, it gives me the sum of every value not just the current time period of 1 day. If I use distance to goal it shows the distance based on the last entry even though I have multiple entries for that day.

If I click on the tracker, it shows everything correctly because I can set it to daily sum, but can I get that same info on the card? I really don't want to have to click on each tracker one at a time just to see where I am at.

Thank you for the feedback. As I wrote in the post the goals are planned to go a major polish for the next major version and I will try to design it in such a way that will answer your needs as well.
